FROM HWY 321 N (Coming from I-85 Gastonia to Hickory, then Blowing Rock)
As you come into the town of Boone, there will be a number of businesses, restaurants, and gas stations. You will be looking for Deerfield Road. The Deerfield intersection is the first major intersection as you come into Boone. It is the first light after passing Tweetsie Railroad. There will be a Walgreens on the left. You will need to turn right on Deerfield. Travel 3.1 miles until Deerfield Road dead ends into Bamboo Road. Take a right on Bamboo Road. Go .2 miles and take a left onto Little Laurel Road. Continue on Little Laurel road for 2.3 miles unto you reach Heavenly Mountain Road. Please note that Little Laurel Extension appears on your right 1.3 miles on Little Laurel Rd. Do not take a right on the Extension. Continue straight. Take a right on Heavenly Mountain Road. Tell the guard that you are with His High Places. If there is no guard on duty, enter 2113 to open the gate. Do not press any buttons other than 2113 even though the on screen directions instruct otherwise. Please note that Heavenly Mountain Drive curves sharply to the left about ˝ mile from the entrance. Make sure you bear left to continue on Heavenly Mountain Drive. Drive 1.6 miles on Heavenly Mountain Drive from the gate and take a left on Morning Sky Drive. His High Places is .4 miles on the left. It is the last house before the road ends.

FROM HWY 421 N (Coming from Wilkesboro, Winston-Salem)
As you ascend from Wilkesboro and enter into Watauga County, the first light is the Highway 221 intersection. Continue straight on Highway 421 for 7.7 miles. Turn left on Bamboo Road – you will see an Exxon station on the left at this intersection and there is also a traffic light. Drive 3.3 miles on Bamboo Road and turn Left onto Little Laurel Road. Continue on Little Laurel road for 2.3 miles unto you reach Heavenly Mountain Road. Please note that Little Laurel Extension appears on your right 1.3 miles on Little Laurel Rd. Do not take a right on the Extension. Continue straight. Take a right on Heavenly Mountain Road. Tell the guard that you are with His High Places. FROM 19E - South (Coming from Elizabethton, Johnson City)
After you reach the NC state line, pass through Elk Park (1st NC town) to JCT with Hwy 194. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 194 at "Times Square Inn & Restaurant" on left. 194 is a curvy and narrow road which you will follow for about 5 or 6 miles. You will come into the town of Banner Elk and pass Lees McRae College on the right just before the single stoplight in Banner Elk. Turn RIGHT onto Hwy 184. Continue for 4 miles to a traffic light at the intersection of Hwy 105. There will be a McDonald's ahead, Scotchman gas station on the right. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 105. Go about 12.8 miles to Blowing Rock Road (highway 321). This is a large intersection with a two-story Wendy’s on the right. Turn right on Blowing Rock Road. Go 1.2 miles and take a left on Deerfield Road. Travel 3.1 miles until Deerfield Road dead ends into Bamboo Road. Take a right on Bamboo Road. Go .2 miles and take a left onto Little Laurel Road. Continue on Little Laurel road for 2.3 miles unto you reach Heavenly Mountain Road. Please note that Little Laurel Extension appears on your right 1.3 miles on Little Laurel Rd. FROM HWY 221 N (Coming from Asheville, Marion, Spartanburg)
As you enter Linville on 221 N, stay straight on 221 which will become a by-pass. At the end of this road, you will come to a stop sign. There is a green warehouse building straight ahead with the names of local businesses on a white sign in red letters. Make a right at this stop sign. Proceed for about 3/4 of a mile to the intersection of Hwy 105. You will pass a Texaco on the left just before the traffic light. Turn left on 105 toward Boone. Continue on this road for 16.8 miles to Blowing Rock Road (highway 321). This is a large intersection with a two-story Wendy’s on the right. Turn right on Blowing Rock Road.
